A multigenre album of experimental club music; sonically and stylistically influenced quite heavily by the Silent Hill franchise (especially 2), Dostoevsky, and Treasure. All of the tracks are tied together subtly through sampling and themes while the sound design juxtaposes grime with footwork, dubstep, witch house, and trap. A new sound for a new era of club music.

"Slime & Punishment fortified combinations of various types of music coalesced into one cohesive piece creating a novel style that is authentic and true to the essence of Bad Slime’s faculties. The impeccable songwriting capabilities profoundly set Bad Slime apart from other aspiring musicians with complex chord progressions intelligently placed throughout the compositions to keep the music both engaging and robust. Every aspect on this album was carefully orchestrated to impeccable quality and strategically organized to its fullest potential. The intricacies of the sound itself are enhanced with flooded instrumentals and minimalist approaches that fluctuate making it simultaneously non-stagnant and non-overbearing at the same time; Almost as if there is a Zen-like balance in the conscious flow of music on Slime & Punishment. The extreme detail of audio engineering cannot be ignored as well with uniform compression creating a phat sound countered with a lush depth from the reverberation. The gritty saturators embellish a vintage monolith of distortion that add a layer of harmonic texture and characteristic to the immaculate frequencies. The ambient soundscapes over the course of the album make for a cognizant flow of music and untapped potential. The glitchy wet-sounding resonances color the features on this album with exuberant ingenuity. The delayed percussive patterns with swing-style stabs give the compositions movement and vibrancy. The album serves as a full-fledged story that flows from track to track without losing any momentum or substance. The repetitive 1/8th and 1/16th notes provide an eloquent dynamic with the overall tempo of the music moving swiftly while the foundation remaining fundamentally true to Bad Slime’s intentions. The vigorous arpeggiated notes really took this album to another level as a 1-2 punch from heavy chords to a composite form of performance art. Bad Slime is simply the embodiment of a new form of conscious music revolutionizing the possibilities of contemporary sound."
